Not to threadjack, but I've been meaning to ask this question and this seems like a good place to put it. I have an upcoming flight with a 55 minute connection in FRA. The first flight is JFK-FRA on SQ, connecting to FRA-CDG on LH. I'm assuming since they are both *A and booked on the same ticket that the bags can be interlined, but is that enough time to connect and transfer? I've never been to FRA so am not familiar with the layout at all.

Interline is possible, minimum legal connection time in FRA is 60 minutes. If you can book it like that, go for it, 55 minutes is doable(if both flights are on time). If you miss, you just get on the next one, there are plenty of FRA-CDG flights on LH.
Immigration is done within minutes ( assuming you are not a citizen of a too fancy country) but they will do a sec screening before you board the flight to France(they do that for all passengers who don't originate from an EU airport).
