I know I would not do this.... do you really want the people who check your luggage at your local airport to know you how long you are out of town? Considering your luggage may already have your home address tag on it?

While I am trusting, that might just go too far. If you have a dishonest person checking the luggage and they have your address and how long you are out of town, then they might take a visit to your home.
