I note from the above link:
"Airlines analyst Rick Erickson said Edmonton Airports' rule that only planes carrying 10 or fewer passengers can land at the City Centre Airport may have been one of Peace Air's problems.
"I think that was part of it," Erickson said from Calgary. "It just was less attractive to northern customers to fly into Edmonton International Airport."
His comments are echoed by the mayor of Peace River, Lorne Mann.
"This proves our every argument and concern about the (City Centre) airport," Mann said. Peace Air's problems in part stem from Edmonton Airports' efforts to curtail scheduled flights into the City Centre, he said."
The debate about the City Centre Airport never really died.
