Maybe even misconnect reporting. Build an itin involving EWR, and get a message. "The likelihood of making this connection is 62%."
I did just talk someone out of an int'l itinerary involving EWR. They had to get to Europe on a specific day, and DCA-EWR-XXX even with a 2-hour connection was dangerous. Not only are the DCA-EWR p.m. flights very prone to ATC delays, but also CO's handling of mishandled passengers is poor. CO doesn't spring for hotels or other carriers, even for Elites, when they can blame weather or ATC. So even if something went wrong, CO would make it worse than it could have been.
Needless to say, the ticket was purchased on another carrier.
