More seriously: I'm irked because AFAICT it's the only benefit that isn't bestowed as soon as you hit the required number of EQMs/EQSs (or shortly thereafter) but instead have to wait around until the following calendar year. If you were a 1k last year or take most of a year to fly 100k miles it might not be a big deal. Hitting 100k in 5 months and then having to wait around 7 more months for the perk is annoying (to me).
