But thanks for your report(s) which will make it more difficult to decide among the four ICs in the region: IC Tokyo Bay, IC Yokohama, IC Tokyo (née ANA) and the IC Strings.

BTW I am curious about the odd name "Strings" and how it came to be? Anyone know the story?

It will be a personal view but having seen but not stayed at the the two Tokyo hotels, this one is streets ahead.

Finally, according to the Directory of Services, the hotel is named after the part of the orchestra embraced by connoisseurs. Make of that what you want!
