Will have to try it again. I know when I went to use BPay using a Visa card they wanted to treat it as a cash advance transaction rather than credit. That's when I went to use pay-by-phone option, that was Visa/MC/Bankcard only at the time.
Maybe I should try their internet payment option and see if that accepts Amex.
