In response to a comment made earlier regarding the profitability of World Traveller Plus, this cabin is actually, in terms of area, the most profitable on the aircraft. That said, the Club Kitchen and the Club Tuck Boxes are CLUB PRODUCTS.
The CSD who said he would "not make a fuss over a few Mars Bars" is failing in ensuring that we don't cross brand. Sure, nobody flies Club for the Galaxy but having these products available to our Club passengers is an important feature of the product we offer. If one person is allowed in to the galley to take a couple of Mars Bars, how can the CSD turn away the other XX passengers in the WT+ cabin?
And if they all took something, there'd be little if anything left for the passengers for whom the chocolate was intended.
I do believe that WT+ should be offered more in the way of snacking options. Some fruit would be nice, for example. It's a profitable cabin and most people pay a lot of money to sit in there. Until the company chooses to improve the product we offer in Plus, however, I'll continue to protect the integrity of the Club product by politely refusing Club Kitchen items to World Traveller Plus passengers.
EDIT : I will always maintain a certain level of flexibility, however, and will judge whether it would be appropriate to cross-brand under certain unusual circumstances.

Sounds a lot to me like some Club items had been moved in to the Traveller Plus basket.
