We just stayed at a SHS in the LA area. Had the same breakfast, actually a very good selection - fruits, hot/cold cerial, yougurts, eggs, make your own waffles, etc.

After about 8AM however the area was very over-crowded, and it was impossible to get to the waffles, or even really have a relaxing breakfast. People were noisy and "grabby". This was on a Saturday morning.
