Is there any reason this is not a good idea?
Is the UBS Terminal bank exchange rate likely to be worse than I can get at a bank in town?
Can I get a better exchange rate using my ATM (Bank of America) card? (BOA charges a flat fee of $5 for each use of the ATM card.
Or, are there other ways to handle the tolls? I plan to get off the freeway in Luzern and take the back roads the rest of the way to Spiez where we'll spend the first three days.
Any help would be appreciated.
Are you using a rental car? Tolls in Switzerland are paid with an annual sticker which costs 40 CHF, most rental cars already have the sticker.
The UBS rate at the airport is the same as the city branches.
