I bought two last-minute SEA/CDG B fares at $4,000 last October. There was no way I could have obtained tickets at $2,000. All flights were full. It's just a data point, of course. I don't really know how that would compare to TPAC fares, since fortunately I haven't had to buy TPAC B fares so far.
