Perhaps I was the catalyst for the change in policy?

In the last few days, I have changed the return portion of my itinerary three times, changing my routing, changing my European stopover city, changing my travel dates, and adding a North American stopover. All without any real fuss and only with a very nominal add/collect to reflect additional taxes.
