I think it's great for gauravp123, but imagine showing up at a hotel to find out that someone else has checked into your room? Hm...
recently stayed at the Toronto Sheraton. Reservation in my name with my wife (using a different name) and we both were together. Asked for I.D. and would only add her name at my request (i am plat holder). Go figure maybe it's the person who greets you???? In better than 12 months have not stayed at a Sheraton w/o being asked for credit card and photo i.d.
