I am very much used to the pushing and shoving on subways. I don't experience that on the trains, however. That might be because I'm a reverse commuter. What I like are train cars designated as "quiet cars". Cell phone users of both sexes must step into another car if they want to babble on their phones. Now THAT kind of separation I like and I seek.
