i know that my company uses creative ticketing methods and we used to buy one way BA tickets London to Argentina (about £2000) and then one way from Argentina to London (about USD2000) which saved a fortune. So you may want to see if you can split the ticket and purchase part of it in one of the asian cities you are visiting - although this worked well for business class it may not work so well for economy
