I used to live in New Orleans and have since stayed at few properties i.e. Hyatt and IC.

Personally I would not go to the Loyola street location if you are looking for any comfort. I remember friend staying there for a while and I didn't recall any positive remarks.

The hotels in New Orleans are dirt cheap at the moment. Even if you book on ICH's own website you can get pretty good rates for better properties i.e. Entertainment card rates. The Priceline rates in New Orleans are super low too.

If you are planning to "explore" the FQ you do not need a car in New Orleans. You can take one of the taxes or the shuttle service that is offered at the airport.

Let me repeat. I would NOT stay at this property.
