I just made the jump from SG to WP on a transpacific flight this week. Interstingly, the QF website then gave me the correct (ie double) points for the next US domestic sector I took on the same ticket some 4 hrs later, although the boarding pass still said OW Sapphire
I was quite amazed!
Unfortunately the return flight is QF94, so I'll still be in TBIT. Are then any real differences bet the first and business lounges at TBIT? I don't normally nother to go into the business lounge as I can't see the point.

Now for the final test - when next in a QF club, I'll be knocking back a HP, to see if it tastes better than a crownie. If so, then I'll know I've succesfully transitioned to being a true blue WP!!!
