I have pleasure in speculating that I might hit the holy grail of WP just before a LHR-SYD flight in the middle of the year. Now, given the chance of getting a nice status bonus as a WP from LHR to SYD, how long after the clock ticks over 1400 SCs does the "system" recognise the new status and grant the appropriate level of status bonus?

Likewise, would it be safe to assume that once the status clock hits 1400, then WP status will be printed on the boarding pass so the nice desk dragons at LHR will let us into the 1st lounge?
