a survey of meals in CO domestic F

Wouldn't it be great if you knew in advance that one of the two meal options in CO domestic F was terrible and should be avoided? This is what I like to call the Philly-style Steak Sandwich Conundrum.

Yes, there are many threads here containing comments about various CO meals in domestic F, but none that offer a thorough review of the meals.

What's say we give it a shot?

I'll start off with a few examples.

For Entrees:

Herb Omelet: Very dry. Nothing much inside. Au gratin potatoes is a very small serving and often not very warm.

Philly Steak Sandwich: avoid this one! There is a strong off-taste from the oil they cook the meat in. Tastes nothing like philly cheesesteak.

Cannenoli Pasta: CO's pasta sauce is high quality, and chicken does not taste overly processed.

Chicken Salad: usually with a few asparagus that are normally crisp and unwilted. Chicken is not too bland. A good choice.

Salmon Salad: salmon is not of any quality, best covered in the whole container of dressing.

Shrimp Salad: does this use the tiny bay shrimp? Can't remember.

Soups:

Southwest Chowder: tastes like it's straight from a can.
Lobster bisque: a curious absence of lobster. Mild.
Cream of Asparagus: served with an entree salad it's an asparagus explosion!
