could i ask a question about buying and cancelling a ticket to trigger the 2-4-1. If I buy fully flexible ticket on ba.com and then cancel it there after the statement date will I incur no charge at all? I need to put an extra £1700 above normal spending through amex by end of may to trigger.

i am finding the ba. com site difficult to seek this confirmation.
