Cierge is really about fulfilling a service need, not about any discounts. I use it mostly for rush corporate gifts. When a new micro-digital camera, or some other very cool new gadget comes out, I (before S.V.) would call the rep and have it at my office gift-wrapped within two hours.

That type of service, plus the white glove delivery and installation, is what you are paying for. I would assume that as PLT or Centurian cardholder you know and sometimes pay more for the service. I do.
