I paid my dues, and was making top pay. It was NW that changed the rules of the game. And they're paying the price for their follie.
Yes, I am leaving. But not before using up my sick bank and making sure my pension is in place. I do qualify for retirement. I'm also establishing my goat farm. I'll leave NW when I'm good and ready, and in the meantime the other FA's can benefit from my knowledge of how to screw the company without getting fired.^
I am glad you are able to use your sick leave bank. You earned it. I lost my sick leave a a few times when I was laid off. If you have a defined benefits retirement plan and if the pension benefits are honoured, you should be OK. Defined benefit plans are a thing of the past for most workers except for some lucky ones like those in the autombile industry. That might have changed, I am not sure. MAybe someone here can enlighten me.

The cost differential will go down in a few years and the advantage of outsourcing might be gone. As the wage differential goes down, more of the foreign workers will be able to buy American goods and services, provided we manufacture gods and provide services others want or need.
