Food is now available, in fact the F&B side is as good as the QF domestic lounges.
No showers and the crowded nature of the lounge is the worst part of TBI.

BTW, I was stopped from accessing the F lounge at TBI as I wasn't flying F , flashing the Plat card didn't cut it.
Didn't feel like making a point as it was too late . AND the aforementioned biz lounge was pretty good.
