Remember that you can still do the 6 US sectors on the LONE4 fare in order to max out the SC's, which is the main issue with gaining status. But you should look to use QF flights (eg QF107/108 LAX-JFK) or codeshares wherever possible to max the points earning as well.

So just how many SC's are you assuming can be averaged on a LONE4 trip?
