I have used the 2 for 1 airline ticket once, but technically worth thousands of $$, if you're planning on paying full fare business class for a ticket.

I have also used FH&R program from time to time, though I tend to stay at Hiltons these days and leverage the HH DIA.

For me, it was a question of being SE, and seeing no benefit in switching or adding the AP Amex. This has changed somewhat since you no longer collect 1.5x points that can be transferred one to one for miles.
