I would not support BA's position if it is indeed as you say. What exactly is the problem with taking extra precautions and for that matter having armed FAMs aboard? Whilst I appreciate some people are averse to the presence of guns, I would say that when they are in the hands of specially trained law-enforcement individuals in an environment which is supposed to be otherwise sterile of any weapons, they could make a big difference in an event requiring forceful intervention.
