Update: phoned to confirm flights with UA but now find that due to UA agent not asking for my CC number, my booking lapsed.

Now required to pay $75 x 2 fee plus tax for tickets within 72hrs!

So when phoning back to confirm: ensure the agent takes the credit card and issues tickets!
