Am I right about not having to pay taxes when using a voucher?
I seem to remember (and I have searched) that if you use a voucher from vol bump, you do not need to pay the taxes if the value of the voucher covers the price of the ticket without taxes. I just called the Exec Plat desk and the ConciergeKey line and both said that this was not true, that you always have to pay taxes.
I also seem to remember everyone discussing that this rule was little known. Can someone confirm the rule and give me some advice on how to argue it?
