I work in a organization that do 99% of all the travel to Europe and the travel agent we use for work trips just don't wont put us on CO because of all the delays at EWR. It's sad because it's most of the time the best connection to do if everything runns as planned. But how often is that. I am a NW flyer, but I used to fly CO to Norway a couple of times and all the times I had to run as a crazy man in EWR to make my flight. My bags allways showed one day later than me because of short connection. I just got fed up and started flying NW instead. DTW have 6 runnways and know how to deal with a blizard during the winter. I agree, the RJ are one of the main problems for all the delays at EWR

I read somewhere that DL was working with the JFC airport to work out all the delays by changing some of the European departures to after 8PM to try to run more on time. Maybe it's time for CO to do the same.

I am actually flying CO to Norway tomorrow (May 15) and the forcast is heavy winds, we all know what that means. I am flying to Ams and then to OSL, but my back up plan if I get delayed to EWR to get on the direct OSL flight. But it's a shame that you have to make a backup plan everythime you fly into EWR.
