MilesDependent - good on you. I always feel those companies that DO go the extra mile WHEN you need it deserve our continued support.

2 years ago I got back from NYE in Rio to find about $20,000 of fake charges on my Gold Westpac Visa. Someone had "skimmed" my details at a bar or restaurant and made a fake card with my data on it.

Westpac were great, charged me not one cent and credited it all back. They wore the $20,000. I still keep that card for mainly that reason. They could have screwed me royally as I of course admitted YES to: "was card ever outside your immediate control".
