I'll take your word for it. I know schemes like Amex and Comm Bank only award the points after you pay the bill, so assumed ANZ would be the same.

Please do let us know. For the sake of 250 points and retaining a customer (we know how people are leaving this card in drives), they may just decide its easier to give in and give you the points. They offered my something like 1000 points to remain with the card - I said thanks but no thanks. So they don have some scope to play with. But that won't help the other 15 remaining ANZ QF Visa customers who have all likely been similarly mislead!
