I do agree that AA stands to gain a little in the at-airport service area...

I've had only one GA (at LAX) who is consistently rude - but I now just avoid him when checking in. Every AA telephone agent I've dealt with, both as EXP and "pre-EXP", have been pleasant, courteous and knowledgable. I don't have much experience with UA, but I'm very content with being with AA!
