To the OP: if you have an Amex Plat card, or a Priority Pass memberhip, you can use one of the many CO president's clubs at IAH. You're kind of stuck, because CO pretty much owns IAH.

I don't know much about MSY, but IIRC the lounge situation there is similar to LAS, ie. non-existent (except for a great Delta Crown Room).
