Where PMA = Photo Marketing Association? (I thought it would be worth a try since some of the travel photographers here just might have a serious enough interest in it to attend the GIANT trade show where all the majors have pavillions each year to show off their products.)

PMA just acquired one of the trade shows in one of my industries and we are having to make some tough financial choices about how to allocate our show dollars for next year over the next few weeks - all my input about those shows so far has come from parties who are biased on direction or the other about whether we go or stay.

I'm curious to get feedback from folks who might have gone to the show about what they got out of it in terms of where they see the industry heading and how far they are willing to see that show stretch to get "new" fringe industries (like scrapbook manufacturers) on the edge of that show.
