Hi, hoping to find an answer on this one. I've tried the QF website but as QF don't fly from Hong Kong to Amsterdam it couldn't give me an answer.

Could someone please tell me how many points I would earn on the following route:
Launceston - Melbourne - Hong Kong - Amsterdam and return. I'll be in Y and have no status.

Also what is Cathay Pacific like? I'm 6 foot 5 which I think may be a bit of a worry. Also is QF the best FF scheme for me to join. I'll only be making one other trip later in the year (LST-MEL-PER return) for a friends wedding. Any chance of earning enough points in Y on my trip to Europe for a freebie to PER, or an upgrade? Any help greatly appreciated.
