The Fuyong pier is adjacent to SZX. They have free shuttle bus that picks up ferry passengers to the terminal.
Don't know about immigration, but I don't think it'll be too bad.
The maximum queue there can be 1 shipload, and the ship is usually not full. I never waited for long there.
