I have found most of the Travel Agencies to be either interested in selling you a cheapo fare, or package holiday. I have even found buying business class fares to be a PITA. I really hate the "moshikomisho" BS that they put you through everytime you need a ticket, or the bloddy waitlist BS without regards to status etc. Also if this person will be flying J or F on a continual basis, I don't think they will get the service they need/want/expect. Unfortunately being a Travel Agent is an incredibly mundane job and few last long enough to gain the proper experience in "working" the system to their clients advantage......my further 2 yen.

Also, there have got to be corporate desks at all the major agencies (JTB, Nippon Travel, HIS etc.)........
