You can stop blinking now!Yes Bigguyinpasadena has something good to say about a Marriott property.
Upgraded to a junior suite at checkin without having to ask,front desk was courteous and regognized me as a repeat guest and my Marriott Elite status.
Hotel Management was much in evidence in the lobby greeting guest and describing new features of the hotel(new workout equipment,new menu at the restaurants)they had a backrub setup and were giving away free backrubs also housekeeping manager was handing out vials of lavender essence for your pillow.this cost them almost nothing as it is all promotional cobranding stuff-but as it is not for some big company(ooooo-a free pack of milanos! )but rather smalll buisnesses-it makes a great impression.

Lounge is open ALL weekend with a very nice breakfast spread,evening snacks,desserts and coffee.Great lounge staff.

Housekeeping is excellent-room was spotless.Furnishings in very good shape,bed was super.No new TV's unfortunately but a nice selection of channels. Turndown every night-again a small local goodie in place of the ubiquitous astor chocolates.

Checout was smooth-EEO cert was ALREADY indicacted on my folio ^ ^ ^
no hassles at all-just a great relaxing weekend away.
The management team for this property should be used as instructors at all Marriott properties-if they all were this good I would not be in such a rush to leave Marriott Rewards.
