An FT friend took me on a "Parade of Diverse Bars" to Gym sports bar, the Eagle leather bar, and one more place.... a small drinks/videos bar on like 23rd?24th? between 6th and 7th? It's close to there, anyway.
All were quite busy but not overflowing--a nice crowd at all. It was a nice first time" in NYC bars, actually--something for everyone!
