Seating wise I know I won't have the flat beds - but if someone could give me an idea on menus, beverage list, service etc that would be great. An idea on where to sit would be good as well - I suppose I can't go wrong with trying to ask for UD emergency exit row or bulkhead? Hope they aren't blocked for their own emeralds.
The JL website seems very focussed on LHR/JFK/CDG/ORD when it comes to describing their inflight service - their premier routes I suppose.

I flew this last night on route to ORD. Seats as previously stated, service quite good same range as JL in fact the JL service NRT to ORD was worse. I noticed that QF flys same route 25 minutes later not sure what with.
The other notable thing was that J was at best 25 - 30% full so easy to get around and lots of room. As the seats have limited recline I use my roll on luggage as a foot rest to get a little more horizontal. All in all not too bad a flight.
When we landed at NRT immigration and customs empty, plane landing to sitting in hotel 35 minutes!
