This is not going to stay on focus to the board's mission, which is United's Mileage Plus Program, and the airline's overall operations. While the OP certainly has the right to pose her questions/opinion, there is probably a better place on Flyertalk. Where that is, I'm not 100% sure.

I'm closing the thread. The OP might consider re-opening the subject in a FT board such as Women Travelers. The overall issue of airlines treating female elites different then male elites might be a topic with macro interest for members and lurkers.
