I am very new and have only done two MRs. But from SAT I have a difficult time getting domestic fares under .05 EQM. Remember too not to make the mistake of calculating earned miles the same as EQM. As a PLAT I get a mileage bonus of 100% which cuts in half the cost per/mile. But what you are most interested in is Elite Qualifying Miles. I'm sure you already know this. I didn't when I first started. A site that will do this for you is The Ultimate Mileage Counter.

Periodically an international flight cycles thru SAT that gets below .05 EQM. I suspect FTers on the East and West coast can beat this easily. Not so lucky in the deep south.
