Milwaukee is content with "Status Quo". It just doesn't work in this day and age. That is why Waukesha will become the major population center and Milwaukee will turn into a suburb of Waukesha. There is too much opposition to progress in Milwaukee. Wait and see what happens when County Government decides it wants to move ahead with it's plan to expand the airport. The new runway in their plan will go right over College Ave. and into a neighborhood. There will be so much of an uproar that little will get done for years. They should start now so it can get done by 2025 and be 10 times over budget. It's just the culture here and I don't see it changing in my lifetime.
