ADS-B is more widely deployed, allowing planes to fly much more closely and increasing the number of flights that can take off from a runway in a given situation. Remember, when conditions are just right we do not always have ATC delays.

It would increase the overall number of planes flying, but why wouldn't that just invite the airlines to introduce even more flights, particularly in to key airports like ORD and EWR?
