Point is, mouthing off to the cop or other person in authority is a Bad Idea. You simply aren't going to win that fight, as this couple found out.

I'm also not thrilled with the idea that resisting enforcement of a minor rule should get you off the hook. If you exclude any sort of force or punishment, it becomes unenforceable.

As for the "one warning" remark, come on, there's no way to reason that this doesn't mean violence. "I'm giving you one warning to get out of my face, or I'll write an indigent letter to customer service!"

1. Don't go past 1st base in the passenger cabin.
2. If you do and get caught, be very embarrassed and stop.

Is that really so unfair and complicated?
