The point of going to a mission trip is to experience the selfless giving and sharing the humbleness of the locals. I don't know if upgrading someone to first class would really help this experience.
If I were to establish some sort of charitable foundation, it would be geared towards mission workers going to places that are out of popular destinations in Asia or Africa so that they can save substantial amount of money, which can be used for other things.
For example, if one is to fly from Chicago to Ulannbatar, Mongolia, one needs to buy 2 seperate tickets. One from Chicago to ICN and ICN to Mongolia, which can add up to over $2000 US. However, one US to Northern Asia award ticket can be issued for the entire trip for far less. Also limiting charitable assistance to the Mission worker and spouse.
