bonus is tied to SPG AMEX. It appears to be a 50% bonus to the month's points earned. If you earned 5000 points due to purchases, you'll get 2500 points for the bonus. I never saw anything in my emails regarding this "bonus" and it could be another of those promos that are targeted.
