The only way the delays and traffic can be aleviated at EWR is to restructure the flight patterns to promote a better flow of traffic and to put in a 3rd working runway.

However, I think all of us here can agree that there is a problem with both of these. If you restructure the flight patterns, name on community that won't voice opposite (maybe even legal menuvers) to slow it down, if not kill it. As far as a runway goes, the two issues there would be funding of it as well as where the heck would you put it?
