Question Q: Renewing OZ Diamond status
If one earns the 40k miles for OZ Diamond status within the 3 year window, is it renewed for a further 3 years?

Thinking of whether to renew or not. I need *just* 25k miles in the next 6-7 weeks. I do have an undated Diamond card. Don't fly *A too much other than the UA LAX-AKL fare next year (which will go to my US account).
