If I had booked 1A or 1K (hypothetically - I'm normally a humble 62K man on a 747) I'd be pretty annoyed if I got moved backwards to make space for a rock star, a rent boy, or a leading CEO -- anything short of the Prime Minister or the Prince of Wales, frankly.
It seems so. Premier Card holders can, if you believe what you read, bump anyone. Which is a bit poor, since almost none of them pay for their own travel and you could happily have bought your ticket from your own pocket.

However, look on the bright side. Almost no-one on FT recommends 1A or 1K. Very claustraphobic and you are disturbed every time someone uses the wardrobe inbetween the seats. 2A/K is the seat for a solo traveller, or 2A/3A for a couple who don't mind not being side by side.

And welcome to FT!
